HISTORICAL BACKGROUND AND DEVELOPMENT

The Shipyard was founded in 1974, under the name Cantieri Rizzardi and has its headquarters in Sabaudia, in the heart of the Circeo National Park, a few kilometers from Rome. The founder is Gianfranco Rizzardi, who with great passion for boats and engines, has built a successful brand worldwide. Its iconic models "CR", real "open of the sea", fiberglass boats very resistant and with the classic deep V hull can face all the seas. Mega open of quality, reliability and elegance purely made in Italy. In 1993 the Rizzardi family took over the Posillipo brand, specialized and appreciated all over the world in the construction of planing flybridges also characterized by high build quality and strong personality. The operation will be confirmed strategic going or to complete the product range with the gliding motoryacht up to dimensions greater than 30 meters. In 2004, thanks to his sons Damiano and Corrado, the "incredible" line was born, models that will leave their mark in the world of powerboating thanks to the perfect balance between performance and comfort. This particular characteristic, together with the total customization and constructive quality, are among the most important distinctive notes of the Rizzardi yachts, a reference point for demanding owners in today’s market. In the 2000s the INRizzardi group was created, which still controls the two brands: Posillipo and Rizzardi. The current production is managed in two major shipbuilding facilities owned and ranges from the 50-foot open sport to the 122-foot motoryacht. All models enjoy a special attention to marine qualities, build quality and customization capabilities. Most of the activities and work is entrusted to internal resources, skilled workers with ten-year relationships. The ownership and management of the group has always been exclusively owned by the Rizzardi Family.

VOLUME OF THE MARKET

The two Italian brands under the leadership of the group have produced about 500 boats currently sailing; of some iconic models were almost the 100 units produced. All models produced enjoy excellent quality value as well as market and resale. One of the peculiar characteristics that enhance this reality compared to others of Italian boating, is certainly the strong customization of each boat, peculiarities much appreciated by each owner and that makes each realization unique in its kind. The product is in fact a real custom, 'a tailored suit', sewn exactly on its owner, according to his needs and preferences. This particular production process leads the production to dedicate a lot of time to each single unit and limit the number of boats produced each year, so that the characteristics stated above are always met. Production numbers vary according to orders; in the last 5 years the Group has delivered 10/12 new units each year. The production capacity and the company organization has been set up in order to easily satisfy the increase in production to 25 units per year with a view to developing new markets and introducing new models.
